This is my100 days scorecard in office as your representative – Prof. Nnamchi


The Hon member representing Enugu East and Isi-Uzo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly Prof. Paul Nnamchi has presented his achievements in the first 100 days in office to his people in a low-key ceremony recently.

According to a Press Release by his Special Adviser on Media/Publicity, Sam Nwanze, Prof. Nnamchi started by saying that it gives him immense pleasure to present his 100 days scorecard to the people he represents at the National Assembly.

“It gives me immense pleasure to share with you a summary of my first 100 days in office as your representative. During this time, I have been working tirelessly to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our constituents and the community as a whole”, he said.
On Scholarships for Higher Education the honourable member said: “One of my proudest achievements during this time has been awarding university scholarships to 200 deserving students from our constituency. Education is the key to a brighter future, and I am committed to ensuring that many young minds in our constituency have the opportunity to pursue their dreams and aspirations irrespective of their socio-economic background.
“To support the education of our younger generation, we have also provided branded uniforms to pupils in some public schools within our constituency. This initiative promotes a sense of unity and ensures that many children have access to quality education, regardless of their socio-economic background”.
On Infrastructure Development which the member representing Enugu East/Isi – Uzo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly described as backbone of any thriving constituency, he said “I am pleased to report that significant progress is being made in grading the Ugwogo/Ako road. Other crucial road projects that will improve transportation, boost local businesses, and enhance overall connectivity within our constituency are underway and awaiting final approval”.
Empowering the Youth through Technology is another area he has made a visible mark in the first 100 days in office. His words, “In an increasingly digital world, I firmly believe that our youth must have the skills and tools to succeed. To this end, we conducted two editions of a free computer training program, where a total of 500 students had the opportunity to learn various computer packages. This knowledge will undoubtedly open up new avenues of opportunity for our young constituents”.
On Unveiling a Tech-Hub & Youth Innovation Program, he is excited to what has been achieved. According to him, “I am excited to announce the establishment of a Tech-Hub and Youth Innovation Programme. These initiatives aim to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and job creation among our young people. Our goal is to empower the next generation to excel in the rapidly evolving tech industry”.
These are according to Prof Nnamchi, “just a few of the achievements we have made together in my first 100 days in office. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your unwavering support and trust. None of this would have been possible without your continued encouragement and belief in our shared vision for a better community”.
In reference to the recent judgement by the State/National Assembly Election Tribunal which voided his election, he asked his numerous supporters to remain calm assuring that that he will get justice at the Court of Appeal. “As we look forward to getting justice on our mandate through the Court of Appeal, my commitment to serving you and our constituency remains unwavering. I am eager to continue working hand in hand with you to address the challenges we face and to seize the countless opportunities that lie ahead” he assured.
He advised his people to; “Please feel free to reach out to my office with any questions, concerns, or suggestions you may have. Together, we can build a stronger, more prosperous, and more vibrant Enugu East and Isi-Uzo for all”, thanking them for their trust and support.
