According to him, the union’s land, which is being used as a park, was ceded to them by the government in 2010 through a letter signed by then chairman of Boripe Council. But the chieftain of PDP made several attempts to get the land through court which he lost and damages of N10,000 was ordered to be paid to the association.

He stated that “the chieftain of the PDP because they are the one in power is trying to use local government authority to rob us of our land for personal use. He has been threatening us with guns and weapons.
