The Enugu East senatorial candidate of the Labour Party, Barrister Oyibo Chukwu and five other people in his car were killed and burnt yesterday, Wednesday by some unidentified gunmen. Chukwu, who looked set to grab the coveted seat after the expulsion of another contestant, Dr Chimaroke Nnamani and subsequent withdrawal of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, from the race, was said to have been waylaid at Amaechi Awkunanaw on his way home from a political campaign.
The Governorship candidate of Labour Party, Chijioke Edeoga was said to have confirmed the gruesome incident . The Police is yet to make any arrests or statement to that effect. Unconfirmed report also said that the All Progressives Congress counterpart, Ada Ogbu was also attacked at the same area yesterday.
Drumnewsonline gathered that the candidates were all invited at Agbani Local Government Headquarters to sign a Peace Accord and it was on their way home that they were waylaid. Sources say that Mr Ofor Chukwuegbo of the House of Representatives and a candidate of PDP was also attacked and the driver of one of his campaign vehicles killed and burnt inside the vehicle, as well.

Alphabetically, ABCD is English and not Igbo. Most of Igbo Towns are written as they write in English. All over the World, only Igbo Names are stupidly written like they are writing English.
Examples; Onitsha(Ọnịsha); Awka(Ọka); Owerri(Owere); Orlu(Ọlụ); Awkunanaw(Akunana).
All the Igbo States Commissioners of Education, do not know what they should do to encourage all Igbo Children to learn correctly, Igbo.
