The remains of Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba and son, Chizi were buried today, Saturday March 9th, 2024 at Isiokpo, Ikwere Local Govwernment Area of Rivers State amid tears with dignitaries from government, private sector and the clergy in attendance.

The funeral service was held at a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. In attendance included the Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Mr Peter Obi, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, governors Simi Fubara of Rivers State played host,

The Wigwes died in a helicopter crash in the United States last month.
