An Abuja-Kaduma bound train was this Monday evening reportedly bombed and demobilized by suspected terrorists. The train with over 970 passengers on board has been stopped as a result of the bombing in a desolate place with passengers at the mercy of the terrorists said to be firing guns sporadically.

Details of the attack had not been released as at press time but sources said many of the passengers were injured and some feared kidnapped by the rampaging armed bandits who surrounded the train.
