The sorting of votes at the ongoing primaries of the All Progressives Congress has started this morning with the former governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu likely to clinch the ticket.

The exercise monitored by Drumnewsonline on national television showed Tinubu garnering most of the votes cast during the overnight voting at the convention.

Contestants included the incumbent Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Rochas Okorocha, Ogbonnia Onu, David Umahi, pastor Tunde Bakare amongst others. Most of the Southwest aspirants stepped down for Tinubu.
