Anambra Guber Election: Group condemns campaign of calumny against Prince Arthur Eze

A group known as The Coalition of Eastern Nigeria Political Pressure Groups has called on Anambrarians to disregard and dismiss a spurious publications being peddled against Prince Arthur Eze in which it was alleged that he had entered into an agreement with an aspirant of All Progressive Congress in the Anambra State governorship election, Chief Tony Nwoye, to be paying him certain percentage of the internally Generated Revenue in the State, should he emerge victorious in the party primaries and subsequent election

It was alleged that it was based on the unholy agreement that Prince Eze would support his political ambition.

In a media briefing in Awka, the Secretary General of the group, Chidi Okolo said “the publication is a political fabrication of land-by-night politicians who had repeatedly failed to establish themselves as well meaning sons of Igboland or even qualify to hold any political position in Anambra State or the Nigerian nation. He further said that these faceless ‘political neophytes were terribly intimidated by the stout challenge of Dr Tony Nwoye’.

The group further said that Prince Eze was a globally-recognised business mogul, a philanthropist and a God-fearing man who had nothing to do with the fabricated publication by these “irresponsible faceless elements whose sole aim is to smear the goodwill of this great son of Igboland”.
