A gubernatorial aspirant in Enugu State under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Honourable Barrister Nwabueze Ugwu is not leaving anything to chance in his bid to clinch the ticket of the ruling party in the State to contest the forthcoming governorship election in 2023. Hon. Ugwu is today, Saturday, May 14, 2022, taking his campaign to major markets in Enugu to sensitize stakeholders on his candidacy and why he remains the man to beat in the forthcoming governorship party primaries election.

Drumnewsonline gathered that the campaign train of the politician would take off by 9am this morning with visits to Ogbete Main Market, Kenyatta, Artisan, Awkunanaw and New markets. The campaign train would eventually visit the major markets in the State. Honourable Ugwu who is popularly known as Ikpemalueziokwu disclosed to Drumnewsonline that he valued the market men and women so dearly and would like to use the opportunity to explain to the leadership of the markets and others what he has in stock for NdiEnugu if he gets the party’s ticket and eventually contests and win as the incoming governor of the State.

According to him, Enugu deserves a better deal as the capital of the old Eastern region and home to all Igbos and other ethnic groups that made up the region in the past. Enugu is like a father to all and should be minded by a more dutiful person as the Governor.
