Facts have emerged that the fire outbreak that took place at the Ministry of Finance headquarters Abuja was caused by an explosion of one of the batteries used for the inverters in the building.

According to an official of the ministry that briefed newsmen this Wednesday morning, the fire tarted around 6.50am and only the battery room in the basement was affected and no other areas of the building.

However, newsmen were not happy the way some workers in the ministry treated news hunters by giving the impression that nothing serious happened.
