Why Fulanis are backing Tinubu presidency, by Agogo

Director, Community Support Directorate of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC), Dr. Abdulahi Mai Agogo, has explained the reasons Fulani people are backing the presidential candidate of the APC, Senator Bola Tinubu.Agogo said the current scarcity of the naira and hike in fuel prices would not stop the people from voting for Tinubu in the February 25 general election.

Agogo disclosed this in Akure while inaugurating the Ondo State Community Support Directorate for  Bola Tinubu/Kashim Shettima supporters.

He said the Fulani people are supporting Tinubu because they believe he would win the presidency and take the country to greater heights.

Agogo stated that the Fulani people jettisoned tribal sentiment, and religion to follow sincerity, honesty, hard work and experience.

He cautioned the APC supporters not to be provoked to engage in any fight or destruction so as not to give the cabal any excuse to postpone the election.

His words,  “Those people who don’t want Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to become the president are just joking because he has the pedigree to become the next president of Nigeria,” adding that neither the shortage of fuel nor naira scarcity would stop them from voting.Error loading media.

“And I know that these things will be a thing of the past.

“You should know that the APC doesn’t follow language, religion or tribe but it follows transparency, capacity, and honesty. Tinubu is a great leader; he must be taken to glory, irrespective of the situation of things in the country. Tinubu is a worthy leader; he’s not contesting for anything other than to bring back Nigeria’s lost glory.

“Don’t allow yourself to be used by anybody, avoid fighting, avoid causing trouble for APC. Do not only vote for Tinubu, vote for all the candidates contesting under APC,” Agogo said.

Southwest Canvasser, Dr. Ronke Kolade Carew, said the womenfolk in Ondo were ready to vote massively for Tinubu.

Prince Adeyemi Adetunji, the National Assistant Director, Community Support Directorate said the APC would secure over one million votes in Ondo State.
