Hundreds of passengers escaped death on Thursday in Lagos when a mass transit shuttle train derailed at the Ashade railway crossing on the Agege-Ikeja corridor in Lagos. No life was lost in the incident.  As at the time of this report some agencies were making frantic efforts to clear the rail tracks. Details later.
