OAU student’s murder: Adedoyin, staff arrive court as Osun CJ delivers verdict

The seven defendants in the case of the alleged murder of an ex-Masters student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Timothy Adegoke, have arrived at court for the commencement of judgement by Osun Chief Judge, Adepele Ojo.

Justice  Ojo was expected to deliver judgement on the case on Tuesday, and the courtroom was already filled by 9:14 am when the defendants arrived.

Lawyers, journalists and other interested parties in the matter arrived at court early and were subjected to checks by police operatives at the entrance to Osun High Court 1, where the judgement will be delivered.

Also, at the entrance to the High Court premises, those going in were subjected to scrutiny by policemen.

The owner of Hilton Hotel, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Dr. Ramon Adedoyin and six of his staff namely; Adeniyi Aderogba, Oluwole Lawrence, Oyetunde Kazeem, Adebayo Kunle, Adedeji Adesola, had been on trial, facing 18 count charge that includes murder, conspiracy, indecent interference with the corpse, among others.
