No to your bail application, Court tells Nnamdi Kanu

The Federal High court sitting in Abuja has refused the bail application made by the detained leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IaOB, Maxi Nnamdi Kanu.

The court presided over by justice Binta Nyarko ruled that KANU had abused the bail granted him by the same court earlier when he jumped bail and a bench warrant had to be issued on him. The court had explained that that there was no guarantee that KANU would abide by the bail conditions when issued.

Details of the court sitting later as the court was still in session as at press time.
