Man U maul Swansea 4 – 0 to win its second game.

Goals from Eric Baily,  Romelu Lukaku, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial  were all Manchester United(Man U) scored to sink Swansea in their second English Premier League match, with three quick-fire goals. Final score, United 4, Swansea 0. It was a repeat of 110 years feat by the Manchester elite club.

The Jose Mourinho wards have thus posted a back to back 4-0 victory in the season, perhaps sending a message to rivals about their ambition, that they are aiming at the grand prize, the league trophy. It was a match that United ought to win. They clearly dominated possession, 59 to 41 and had superior chances to compound the misery of their hosts.

Eric Bailly put the visitors ahead on the stroke of half-time. But no goals came until Mourinho made changes, in the second half on 75th minute. Marouane Fellaini and super-sub Anthony Martial entered the play with Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata making way.

The changes wrought an impact five minutes later. The goals poured from Romelu Lukaku, Paul Pogba. Anthony Martial sealed it in style. Man Utd are now sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League pile with six points and eight goals in the bag.

On why the goals were late in coming, man of the match, Henrikh Mkhitaryan said : “It was a tough game, they were playing with five defenders but we were patient and when they switched to four defenders this allowed us to score the second, third and fourth goals”
