I had N2,000, minus the N500 we used to eat that night. She had never raised her hand against me before, but that day, she got up and slapped me. She demanded N4,000 but I did not have up to that amount. “My wife had been advising me to go into robbery because my work brings in pittance, but I always urged her to be patient.” He said the couple’s only child is presently staying with his late wife’s family in Okene.
