Loss to Raccine won’t affect NPFL promotion chase, says Coach Elechi

The Coach of Go Round FC, Port Harcourt, Ngozi Elechi, says his team’s 1-3 loss to AS Raccine in Lagos on Saturday would not affect the club’s promotion target. Go Round FC is currently fourth on the South Conference log of the Nigeria National League (NNL). The coach made the assertion in a statement by China Acheru, the team’s Media Officer on Tuesday in Port Harcourt, adding that he would not blame anyone for the loss.

“I don’t blame anybody for the loss; not at all, I like the spirit of my boys in all away games and home matches we have played. Our target is to win all our games, we’re focused on our promotion target and will not drop points,’’ he said. The statement quoted the Go Round coach as saying that his wish was for them to do better at away games. The Omoku side will play Akwa Starlets at the KrisderaHOTEL INOmoku, Rivers on Saturday.
