The platform used by millions of Nigerians stopped working around 8 am on Tuesday morning.

Many Nigerians have taken to other social media platforms like, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to express their frustrations with the development, as the outage has prevented sending messages to groups, while personal messages display only one tick, an indication that they are sent but not delivered.
