Igwe Nsude performs First and Last Ofala, for burial April 8th, 2021

The traditional ruler of Nsude, Udi Local Government area, Enugu State, Professor Kenneth Amaechi Onyia has joined his ancestors at the age of 80 years. In a programme of events released by the town and  his family signed by his son, Prince Kenneth Onyia, Nze Reginald Ozoude, Onowu and Igwe in Council and Hon. Forster Ozougwu, Chairman Burial Committee respectively, the royal father died on January 9th, 2021 after a brief illness.

According to the programme, the last Ofala of the Agunecheibe 11 of Nsude will kick off with a Service of Songs and Night of Tributes in his palace, Umuozoagu, Amozibe Village on Wednesday, 7th April, 2021 and Nchikwashiakwa and reception on Thursday 8th April at the St Mark’s Catholic Church field after the interment of his remains.

The late royal father was an emeritus professor in Physiology. He became the traditional ruler of the community on March 15, 2013.
