A day after troops of the 144 Battalion killed some gunmen in Aba, Abia State, another set of armed men hit the city on Monday. The six-man gang kidnapped a yet-to-be identified man during Monday’s raid.

The incident took place at about 6:00 p.m. between Pound Road and St Michael’s in Aba.

No one was reported dead in the attack, but eyewitnesses told our correspondent that the gunmen kidnapped the man who was driving a Toyota Camry after he had prevented them from having their way.
