A consignment of Covid-19 vaccines meant for Enugu, Anambra and Ebonyi States had been delivered in Enugu yesterday. The consignment arrived Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Emene, Enugu aboard a chartered cargo airliner, Allied Air at about 2.15pm.

Representatives of the States were on hand to take delivery of their respective shipments. It was not clear when the governors would receive their jabs publicly to indicate commencement of the vaccine administration in the States. Governors Makinde of Oyo State, Fayemi of Ekiti and Sanwa-olu of Lagos were reported to have been vaccinated.
