President and Commander-in-chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari felicitates with journalist and fervent Buharist, Abuchi Anueyiagu, as he clocks 60 May 6, 2021.

In a statement today, May 6th, 2021 by his Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, President Buhari thanked him for all his support to his government at all times. “The President salutes the staying power of Anueyiagu, a long-time supporter, who has weathered all storms to stand by his convictions, saying; “more of such men are needed at times like this in our country. President Buhari rejoices with the media fraternity, the Anueyiagu family, friends and associates on the milestone occasion, wishing the journalist good health and length of days to continue serving his community, profession, and the country at large”, the statement read.

Anueyiagu a chieftain of Izunwanne, a body of Southeast journalists, has been a practicing journalist for over three decades and had plied his trade with notable media organisations in Nigeria. He is also a Knight of the Catholic church.
