BREAKING: Sowore, AAC factions clash at INEC headquarters in Abuja

Members of the African Alliance Congress led by Omoyele Sowore and Chief Leonard Ezenwa, are currently occupying the headquarters of INEC in Abuja to counter each other.

The Sowore group is seeking recognition as original owners of the party whereas INEC has already recognised the Ezenwa led group. It would be recalled that Sowore called out Nigerians on the auspices of Revolution Now, demanding good governance from the government of the day. His stance was not taken lightly by the Federal Government which mobilised the law enforcement agencies to disband the protest and got him arrested. Till date, he is still having dates with the courts.

It is being perceived that the crisis in African Alliance Congress, the party he founded, was engineered by some unseen forces to deny him of any political footing to call out Nigerians.
