The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), has tested negative to the dreaded Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

This was disclosed by his spokesman, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Mr Laolu Akande, in a response to media query.

It would be recalled that Akande had revealed in a tweet on Tuesday that the Vice President had gone on self-isolation, in observance of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control’s (NCDC) protocol.

He was among the top government officials who had interacted with the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, who tested positive to the virus, yesterday.
