The Nigeria Police have been given 7 days to rearrest a suspected ritualist, Ifeanyichukwu Dike, who allegedly killed eight years old girl, Victory Chikamso, and removed vital organs from her body. Dike was said to have disappeared from police custody. He was arrested last Friday by vigilant members of the as he was attempting to dispose the mutilated body of the victim. It was gathered that civil society and Human rights groups are already gearing up for mass protests against the police.

The ugly development has further impacted the image of the Nigeria Police negatively. It was gathered that some angry mothers, especially in Port Harcourt City are already warming up for mass protest, involving women and children, to express their anger over the suspect’s escape.

The suspect was handed over to policemen at Okporo Police Station.
