AFCON 2020: Egypt, Senegal qualify for semi finals.

The Egyptian and Senegalese national teams have qualified for the semi finals in the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Cameron. The Pharoahs defeated the Moroccan national team by 2 goals to 1 in a game that pasted for 120 minutes, while Senegal defeated the Equatorial Guinean national team by 3 goals to 1 in the regulation time of 90 minutes. Mohammed Sallah of Liverpool FC, England was unarguably the star on the Egyptian side as he scored the first goal and was instrumental to the second, while his club mate, Sadio Mane also of Liverpool shone like a million stars in the victory of his country against the Equatorial Guineans.

The Moroccan team put up a spirited fight but lost to a more tactical Egyptian team. The match was played at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium, Yaounde, Cameroun. The Equatorial Guineans in Douala proved football pundits who thought they would be push covers, wrong in this tournament. Against all permutations the young lads proved they are now a force to be reckoned with in Africa.

Egyot will meet Cameroun in the first semi-final, while Senegal will play Burkina Faso, another surprise team of the tournament, in the second match.
