Ihe Abia , a political pressure group has congratulated its legal Adviser, Dr. Barr. Uche Maduemesi as he marked his Diamond jubilee.
In a statement issued by the Convener of the organization, Ichie Dr Emeka Okpara, Onwa Isuochi on behalf of the Stakeholders, Management, Staff and members of Ihe Abia, the Convener thanked God for preserving the life of the celebrant.
“Dear Sir, as you celebrate your Diamond Birthday today, we join the members of your immediate family, colleagues, business associates, friends and well wishers across the world to wish you a Happy Birthday.
“Dr. Barr. Uche Maduemesi is an accomplished journalist who rose through the ranks to become an Editor of one of the most prestigious, yet controversial news magazines in Nigeria, *The TELL*, that collaborated effectively with civil society organizations and human rights activists to push the military back to the barracks and return Nigeria to the Fourth Republic and the democracy we enjoy today.”
The statement continued: “After a very meritorious career in the journalism, he went ahead to study Law and today has a thriving law practice, including serving as the Legal Adviser of Ihe Abia, a Non-governmental Organisation, NGO, that is committed to fostering transparency, accountability and good governance across the South East and Nigeria in general”
Dr Okpara thanked Dr. Barr. Maduemesi for support to Ihe Abia and wished him well in all his endeavours.
