Singer Skales has showered praise on Mavin Records CEO, Don Jazzy, for his kindness and generosity.
Skales shared a heartfelt testimony about Don Jazzy’s impact on his early career.
Recalling his first encounter with Don Jazzy, Skales revealed that after performing at Industry Night, Don Jazzy gifted him his first N150,000 and invited him to his studio.
This gesture occurred when Skales had just signed with EME Record Label and was new to Lagos.
Skales expressed his gratitude on social media: “First time I saw N150,000 in my life… many years ago in Maryland, Lagos, at Mohit’s house, na baba run am… I can never forget after performing at Industry Night, baba invited me to his studio and still blessed me… I just dey enter Lagos then… EME just signed me that time… God bless and keep you @DONJAZZY”
Skales’ testimony followed Don Jazzy’s N100 million donation to social media activist, Verydarkman’s NGO.
