The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has struck out 8 of the 15 count charges preferred against the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.
Delivering a ruling today on the Preliminary Objection on the validity of the charges, Justice Binta Nyako ruled that charges 6,7,8,9,10,11.12 and 14 did not state the offence committed by the Defendant thereby declared them invalid.
The court however ruled that Kanu would stand trial on the other 7 charges before the court. On the bail application before the court, it adjourned to May 18th and 26th for ruling on it.
Details later.
