Chelsea wins World Club Cup. Thrash PSG 3-0

Chelsea Football Club of England this evening thrashed the French side, Paris Saint Germain, 3- 0 to win the World Club Cup competition organised by FIFA.

The tone of the match was set early in the first half when Cole Palmer scored a low drive which curved into the net of PSG net manned by goalkeeper, Donaroma. Palmer made it 2-0 in less than 8 minutes of his first goal. The icing on the cake was done by Jao Pedro who scored the 3rd with a magnificent chip over the head of the onrushong PSG goalie. Pedro joined Chelsea less than a forthnight ago from Brighton FC , a club playing in the England Premiership. He joine Chelsea at the world club cup competition. The final match was his 3rd match for his new side.

Before the first half could go half way, Chelsea was 3 goals up to the chagrin of football followers round the world. On paper, PSG was tipped by bookmakers to win the diadem.

The Enzo Maresca-tutored boys delivered to the relish of its teeming supporters. The match made PSG players look ordinary in the pitch.
