BREAKING: Senate rejects Magu again

The Senate has refused to confirm the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, as the substantive chairman of the anti-graft agency for the second time.

Dino Melaye, Senator representing Kogi west, had cited a fresh security report from the Department of State Services (DSS).

The lawmakers said the anti-graft czar “failed integrity test.”
