The old N200 notes will still remain legal tender till the next 60 days, so declared the President, Muhammad Buhari in a nationwide broadcast this morning.

According to the President’s order, the old notes will still be used alongside the new 200, 500 and 1000 notes in circulation. This he said was to alleviate the sufferings of Nigerians across the nation who throng the banks seeking to withdraw or have their old currencies changed.
