BREAKING: Court adjourns case to February 16 as the IPOB’s leader pleads not guilty to charges

The Federal High Court in Abuja presided by Justice Binta Nyako has adjourned hearing in the matter of detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu to Februaury 16, 2022. Kanu had pleaded not guilty when the fresh and amended 15 charges were read to him in court.

It would recalled that an Umuahia High Court had today, Wednesday also gave judgment in his favour by declaring his detention and invasion of his family house by armed soldiers, illegal. The court had awarded damages of N1bn against the Federal Government of Nigeria.
