A meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party governors is starting in Port Harcourt, capital of Rivers State today. The meeting is being hosted by the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike and allmost all the governors of the PDP ruling States had arrived Port Harcourt as at last night.

Drumnewsonline gathered that the meeting is to discuss the zoning of the presidential ticket which has become a thorny issue among the two major political parties. It is expected that the party would zone the ticket to the south and Southeast in particular to cure the deficit of non participation in ruling at the apex level by the geopolitical zone. However, many forces are against the option citing reasons for its non actualization.
