Peter Obi drops his senatorial ambition, says not interested in elective position anymore

The former Anambra State governor, Mr Peter Obi has said that he has no interest in elective position anymore. Mr Obi stated this in Nnewi, Anambra State yesterday during an interaction with PDP officers in Nnewi North Local Government Area. He accused the State Governor, Willie Obiano of having  nothing to show for his tenure and regretted that most of the projects in the council area have remained the way he left them when he was bowing out of office.

The former governor  urged the PDP members to market Mr Obaze Oseloka who is the standard bearer of the party to all nooks and crannies of the area. Obi said that he has no selfish interest in putting anyone into office but added that he has resolved to fight bad governance anywhere no matter who is concerned.

He also put it on record that he has no personal issue with the incumbent governor and that the paramount thing to Anambra people now is to have a governor who would deepen his achievements in office by moving form Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to SDGs
